Croissants - 1/16 & 1/18 Silicone Mould
This silicone mould can be used to make 3 different croissants - two large ones and two small halves. The croissants are technically in 1/17 scale, which fits very well for doll's houses, dioramas etc. in 1/16, as well as 1/18.
The mould is heat resistant up to 200° C for a short time. Material such as Fimo can therefore be baked in the mould (110° C for 30 minutes).
Epoxy resin can also be used as a filling, but this significantly reduces the life of the mould, as the resin causes it to crumble over time. UV resins are not suitable, as the mould should be transparent for this purpose.
Instructions
Press a small ball of polymer or air dry clay into the moulds (I use modelling tools for this).
Bend the mould to release the clay and bake your miniatures in a preheated oven according to the manufacturer's instructions (do not exceed 200° C!). Alternatively, you can leave the croissants in the mould and only remove them after baking.
