This silicone mould can be used to make 8 different chocolate bars. There are a total of 6 different designs and 2 bars are each a whole bar and one already opened with pieces.

As we attach great importance to true to scale, the 1:12 chocolate bars are very thin (max. 1 mm thick). This means that more patience and dexterity is required when moulding than you are probably used to with other silicone moulds. For more information, see "Instructions" below.

The mould is heat-resistant up to 200° C for a short time. Material such as Fimo® can therefore be baked in the mould (110° C for 30 minutes).

Epoxy resin can also be used as a filling, but this significantly reduces the service life of the mould, as the resin makes it crumbly over time. UV resins are not suitable as the mould should be transparent.

Instructions

Press a ball of Fimo®, Cernit® etc. into the moulds (I use modelling tools for this).

As the bulges are relatively shallow, but long and wide, moulding requires a little patience and dexterity. The easiest way to do this is to take considerably more clay than you actually need, make sure that every corner is filled and then use a tool (e.g. X-Acto Knife, scalpel etc.) to remove the excess Fimo® piece by piece while holding as much as possible in the mould with one finger. Of course, care should be taken not to cut off any of the silicone mould itself.

Now carefully bend the mould to loosen the clay and bake your miniatures in a preheated oven according to the manufacturer's instructions (not above 200° C!). Alternatively, you can leave the bars in the mould and only remove them after baking.

What should I bear in mind with silicone moulds?
  • The mould is heat-resistant up to 200° C for a short time (!). Material such as polymer clay can therefore be baked in the mould (110° C for 30 minutes).
  • Epoxy resin can also be used as a filler, but this significantly reduces the service life of the mould, as the resin causes it to crumble over time.
  • UV resins are not suitable as the mould should be transparent.

Each silicone mould is unique, so there may be minimal deviations.

These silicone moulds are not toys, but collector's items for adults, so they are not suitable for children!

The silicone is not food safe.

How long does delivery take?

The processing time for handmade items is a maximum of 6 working days, as they are only made to order. Products in stock are dispatched after 2 working days.

The actual dispatch within Germany usually takes 2 - 4 working days. Within the EU it takes around 2 - 8 working days. Delivery to the rest of the world takes approx. 5 - 20 days. if items with different processing times are ordered, the goods are dispatched in a joint consignment. In this case, the delivery time corresponds to the item with the longest delivery time.

Do you also deliver internationally?

Basically yes, but not to all countries. An overview of all valid shipping destinations can be found on the Shipping & Payment page.

EU countries: Unfortunately, due to disproportionately high costs for the respective packaging licences, it is not possible for us to send physical products to EU countries that are not listed under Shipping and payment.

Non-EU countries: We are currently checking which countries can be shipped to without any problems. Unfortunately, this will take a while. But if your country is not yet listed, but you would like to order from Kleinkram Miniatures, just write us a message and we will check the shipping options as soon as possible.

Can large quantities also be ordered?

From an order quantity of approx. 70 items, the processing time of 6 working days cannot be guaranteed. It is still possible to place an order, but it is quite possible that we will contact you regarding a postponement of the delivery date.

Of course you can also contact us at any time and we can make you an offer.
